First, I brainstormed ideas that I was interested in, and that I could write a response essay to. Next, while looking through articles about those topics, I picked the first one that grabbed my attention the most. After that, I began drafting my thesis and introduction paragraph, then finished the rough draft following the introduction paragraph’s layout. Choosing the article was the most challenging part because I am an indecisive person, so making the call on which article to use was difficult for me. I focused on a strong thesis and introduction paragraph, smooth transition sentences, and details about my opinion, the most. There is not much I would change for future assignments, but I do feel like I need to work on a stronger conclusion.
